- Open Steam.
- Go to “Library”.
- Right-click on CS2 and open the settings menu.
- Select “Beta versions”.
- In the upper right corner, in the line where the word “No” is by default, you need to select Legacy Version of CS:GO.
- Immediately after selecting, the game will download automatically.
- After that, we go to the path *your disk*:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo and in the steam.inf file, we change the data in the “ClientVersion” field to 2000258.
- Launch Counter-Strike 2, but before starting, select “Legacy Version of CS:GO”.
